I stopped in for a quick meal and WOW, was I surprised. I ordered a steak burrito suizo and sat down and they brought out an ample supply of chips, "three" different sauces, a bowl of jalapeños and pickled carrots and, I can't believe it, even a small plate of refried beans for the chips. My burrito was excellent, had more beans and tasty rice with it. Staff is very pleasant, service is fast. I am coming back with friends! Car is ready or I would keep writing. This is my new go to for Mexican food. Enjoy!

Been coming here for years, have brought many friends herealways liked the food and service until.... today (July 7 ) we were waiting to be seated and I got a view of the food being prepared the food being prepared and was totally shocked to see the "chef" scooping out with his bare hands rice and avocados (actually cutting and avocado in his bare hand (??!!!) and putting on the food on the plate this totally unsanitary and disgusting manner. So obviously we left
I am not that picky but this was too much
I'm sure the Board of Health would have a strong opinion about this
Bummed because I used to really like this place -

Best Mexican food I've been to in a long time. I've been trying random spots in Chicago.
Best Mexican restaurant in Lincolnwood.
I dined in.
I had the Carne asada, cabeza, and Barbacoa tacos. Very well cooked and tasty. The house salsa is amazing and great variety. The spicy queso dip was amazing. I like that they also have a small plate of frijoles. As well the side of jalapeños, carrots, cauliflower mix is awesome. Plus they have almost every salsa you can find in a store. I didn't touch these as I usually utilize them because the house salsas taste amazing and is plentiful. The chips are great.
Definitely hit my spice craving here.
Awesome unique interior plus great service. First time I've been here and it'll be tough to find another Mexican restaurant that can top this anywhere on Earth. -

This location on Touhy is the only one I have experienced. My only complaint is the parking lot is small. Other than that, the food is fantastic! Every time I eat here I try a different dish and each time whatever I eat is delicious. Eat in, take out, grubhub, or regular delivery...just do it and do it often.

No frills Mexican restaurant. I was excited to see a veggie burrito on the menu so I asked the waitress about it. She said it's not really vegetarian because the rice is made with chicken stock and the refried beans are made with pork. Huh? How is this considered a veggie burrito? I passed on the burrito and asked her to bring me two tacos with ONLY veggies. The tacos were tasty but was disappointed with the veggie burrito inaccuracy.
